Evergreen Care UK is a local charity supporting people in later life across Bexley, Dartford and surrounding communities to stay independent, connected and confident.
Sometimes a little extra support can make everyday life easier. You may be looking for practical help at home, friendly companionship, opportunities to meet people and enjoy activities, or simply somewhere you feel welcome and part of things.
At Evergreen, we start with you — what matters to you, what you enjoy and the kind of support that would make a positive difference to your life.
Through Home Support, Befriending, Elderberries community cafés, activities and trusted support, we help people stay involved in the life they want to live. And if you are not sure what would help, we can talk it through with you.

Help Give the Gift of a Seaside Day
“I never thought I would have the opportunity to see the sea again.”
These were the words of one of our Evergreen Care UK beneficiaries when they heard about our planned seaside trip.
For many people in later life, a day by the sea is so much more than a trip. It is fresh air, friendship, nostalgia, laughter and something special to look forward to.
Right now, 39 people are waiting to be matched with a befriender through Evergreen Care UK — a reminder of how many people are looking for friendship, conversation and regular connection.
