Evergreen Care UK began in 2013 with a simple but powerful belief: ageing should be met with dignity, not decline.
Inspired by a successful model of compassionate, community-based care, founders Pete and Diane launched Evergreen with the support of 111 people from 35 local churches, a clear sign that the community shared their vision.
Since then, Evergreen has supported over 2,000 individuals and grown into a thriving organisation with more than 65 staff and 170 volunteers. Today, we support over 600 people across Bexley and Dartford, helping them stay independent, connected, and confident as they age.
We are proud to be a National Living Wage employer since 2017 and to have been recognised with multiple awards for our community impact, including Civic Recognition in 2021 and Best Charity in the Bexley Business Excellence Awards.
Evergreen’s strength lies in people, our volunteers, our partners, and our belief in local, relationship-led support. From faith groups to business leaders, we’re building a movement for positive ageing, one life at a time.
