Updated: May 28, 2021

From the 17 May 2021:

  • Gloves and aprons will no longer be required as part of our home support uniform requirement.

While government restrictions are lifted, it’s vital that we continue to keep up with the things that keep us all safe.

We must continue to:

  • Wear a face covering in enclosed spaces, unless personally requested by the client.

  • Where possible wash your hands often for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

  • keep 2 metres apart from anyone you don’t live with even when you are socialising.

We continue to work closely with our local council throughout the pandemic. We have entered the Covid-19 test analysis program and hold self-testing kits in our Bexley Offices, available to all Evergreen staff and volunteers.

  • Take up the vaccine when offered.

  • Get a test and self-isolate if you have symptoms.

  • Let us know if you have any questions or feel anxious.

Evergreen continues to change the lives of older people, one life at a time. We have come together with a common purpose in response to the needs of older vulnerable people living in our community.
