In Loving Memory...

Updated: Apr 7, 2022

A huge thank you to everyone!! We have raised approximately £1810 in memory of Chris (Bryant) for Evergreen. What a blessing! He would have been amazed and thrilled. Thank you so so much,

Love Lynda x

It is with great sadness to give the news that Chris Bryant passed away peacefully on 18th January 2022. Chris was a great supporter of Evergreen and was with us from the beginning, taking the role of Trustee, heading up the training and writing all the policies for the charity.

Those who knew or met Chris would know him as a true gentleman with a gentle nature and a desire to help those less fortunate than himself. His faith was a very important part of his life and gave him great empathy for others. He loved his family, especially his Grandchildren who he saw and looked after regularly. Please keep his wife Lynda and family in your prayers at this sad time.

Personally, we have lost a true friend and we will miss him greatly. This quote really befits the person who Chris was:

“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same”

Thank you for everything Chris, may you rest in peace.

Pete & Diane.

Oh my God!!! I worked with Lynda at Food BANK and my thoughts and prayers are with her and family. Really sad news. Connie

Ah so very sad to hear this, such a lovely gentleman, takes me back to well over 20 years ago, when myself and my family were very involved with Belvedere Baptist Church.  Then to meet up again with Evergreen, Chris always made me feel very welcome.  Will always remember with a smile, the funny 'sketch' that Di and Chris gave us at the end of my training induction back in 2017, on 'How not to be a Home Support Worker'

My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time.Denise xx
